Vidya Balan will next be seen in ‘Sherni’, a film which depicts the conflict between man and animal in today’s ever shrinking world. The actress started shooting in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh as the Indian state has one of the densest and widespread forests in the country. Vidya plays the role of a forest officer and the film is directed by ‘Newton’ fame Amit Masurkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar. ‘Sherni’ is slated to be shot in a start-to-finish schedule with a wrap by the end of April. It also features Vijay Raaz, Sharat Saxena and Ila Arun. Vidya was last seen in ‘Mission Mangal’ in 2019. Although the film was a multi-starrer, Vidya’s work stood out and was appreciated.
