Shah Rukh Khan was planning to play the lead in the Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil flick ‘Vikram Vedha’. However, latest buzz suggests that the actor has lost interest in this project. The makers of the remake wanted SRK to essay Madhavan’s character of a cop, but Khan was interested to play the negative lead, that of a gangster. While ace filmmaker Neeraj Pandey is on board as a creative director, insiders believe that due to creative differences, the action-thriller has been shelved, at least for now. Shah Rukh is currently busy with ‘Zero’ and will then start work on astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic.
