Priyanka Chopra looks impressive as the wife of Peshwa Bajirao, Kashibai, in ‘Bajirao Mastani’. The second lead, that of Mastani, is portrayed by Deepika Padukone, but Priyanka was happy playing Kashibai. “I was the first one to be cast in this film so I always knew that I was playing Kashi. When I was approached for Kashi, I was shooting for ‘Mary Kom’. I didn’t know who would play Bajirao and Mastani at that time. For me the temptation was to play a character which has never got a voice in history. Everyone knows about Bajirao and Mastani, but what about Kashibai?”
