A very strong rumour in Bollywood recently started doing the rounds that Karan Johar was making ‘Dhadak 2’ with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri as the leads in the film. It was touted to be a sequel to ‘Dhadak’, which was a decent box office hit worldwide. The buzz of the sequel got so strong that Karan Johar had to come out in the open to squash them as rumours, “To put this on the record and for all concerned, we (Dharma Productions) are not making a film with the title ‘Dhadak 2’ as is being reported in various articles…” Dhadak was inspired from a Marathi film ‘Sairat’ and introduced debutante Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter.
