Ranbir Kapoor has been announced as the brand ambassador for an online travel portal. Salman Khan had shot for extensive advertisements with Yatra.com but a youth icon seems to be the need of the day for them. A rival brand, Make My Trip, roped in youngsters Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as the faces of the company and to counter that, youth icon Ranbir is publicized as the fresh face of Yatra. While Sallu may have completed his contract with the brand, Ranbir has been a part of several travel related films in the past.
